Update

Hey everybody! I'm really excited to let you know that I'm going to be starting a series on my blog. It's going to be a series of wish lists of beauty and fashion that I've been lusting for. I'm so excited for all the ideas I have for blog posts that will be coming soon! Before I go just a fair warning that I have my semester finals coming up next week which might cause a small break.

My Staple Beauty Products

Hey everybody, I'm very new to this whole blogging thing but I've always wanted to try it out. I've always love beauty and fashion but I'm pretty sure that's just like every other teenage girl on the planet! Since this is my first blog post I thought I would start with something general but also fun. So I have chosen to tell you about my staple beauty products.

To start off I believe that a clean fresh face is the best way to start. Every morning I wake up and wash my face with my Neutrogena Oil Free Pink Grapefruit Acne Wash. It contains salicylic acid which is great for people with acne prone skin, and the pink grapefruit is such a refreshing scent as opposed to what other face washes tend to smell like. After I was my face I put on my Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer to lock in all the moisture and protect my skin from the suns harmful rays.

Now onto the Makeup, my favorite foundation is Revlon's Colorstay liquid foundation for combination/oily skin types. This foundation is great because t has great coverage, it lasts all day, and doesn't look cakey. Next I use my Revlon Colorstay Aqua Mineral Finishing Powder to set my foundation and prevent shininess throughout the day. My favorite eyeshadow palette recently has been my Urban Decay Naked Basics palette. All the shades are matte except for one shimmery highlight color. This is such a great palette for beginners because you can make so many different looks with it. To add a little color to my eyes I like to use my e.l.f. Studio Cream eyeliner in Plum Purple. The purple is very subtle but it pulls out the green in my eyes to make them pop. Mascara is probably the most important piece of makeup in my opinion. It makes your eyes look bigger and brighter. Lately I've been using my Benefit They're Real mascara and I've been loving it. I curls my lashes and makes then look longer and fuller. For my cheeks I've been loving my Be a Bombshell the One Stick in Girl Crush which is a very pretty shimmery light pink color. It adds just the right amount of shimmer to my face with a nice flush of color. Lastly for my lips I've been obsessed with very light nude pinks. My favorite has been my NYX Extra Creamy Round Lipstick in Cream and going over that with my Buxom Lip Gloss in Dolly.
